 ENGLISH LANGUAGE CHALLENGES

Hello everyone! I hope you are well on your weekend.

In this blog I am going to talk about the university's online classes, specifically English. Well, the first course I took in English was in the first semester of this year, that is, English III. The truth was very entertaining to watch the classes with the teacher who took the course, she was very didactic and always tried to make us talk by questioning us. Continuing with English IV, which I also found entertaining and I liked. The experience I have had in the university with the English course made me remember how much I needed to practice XDDD because since school I was good at English, but when I got to the university and with this modality, I realized that I have to practice a lot hahaha but that's good.

I like the use of blogs because I did not know how to do one hahaha and it makes it more dynamic both for us and for the teacher (or so I hope). As I mentioned earlier, I need to practice and be active with English since it is an important element (especially for the career), so what I do is read and listen to things in English, I also download the Duolingo application XDDD, it is an tool that It has served a lot, I have known her since I was 12 years old and I have tried to use her as often as I need to to remember words or phrases or even continue learning! These last few days I have not been able to practice and I have not dedicated myself to seeing things in English since the end of the semester has me bad ☹

Postgraduate Studies

Hello everyone! I hope you are all very well :) Today I am going to comment on the continuity of the study that I want to do ... the truth is that I have not decided yet, but international relations and the whole issue attracts my attention. Sub-national governments are also becoming more important! so it would be a good job opportunity.

I have also thought about studying another career as pedagogy to have the ability to teach in a very didactic and practical way at the university because I would like (perhaps when I have acquired enough experience) to be a teacher.

 I have many expectations placed on me, I hope I can achieve everything I set my mind to and give me opportunities. Who knows, maybe one day I'll be a doctor in political science and more!

I would very much like to study abroad, there are many outstanding universities with scholarships! It would be good to be able to get one of those and learn in another environment like Germany or Australia or maybe Japan (it is worth dreaming ok hahaha) and also learn a new language! which adds a skill and that means job opportunities!

And what would you like to continue studying or would you enter the world of work?

A photograph I like 

Hello everyone! today I'm going to talk about one of my favorite photos. This photo was taken this year and was taken by me hahaha. After 9 months without seeing each other in person, I was able to be with this wonderful person! (Too bad there were 3 more missing)

The photo is my friend Sebas and I in the subway hahaha waiting for food from the San Camilo cafeteria. His visit to Santiago was in October, that day he also came with his sister and we shared a beautiful afternoon!

I really like this photo because it was the reunion after so long in confinement and social distancing due to the pandemic. And I feel that it shows that despite being far away, the quarantine showed who is there for you and who really cares about you (Gabriela Coelho xdd hahahaha)

My future job

Hello everyone! I hope they are well. Today I am going to tell you about the job I want to have in the future.

Actually, I’m still not sure what I’m going to focus on with my career. I study Political Science and you can do various things regarding politics and government or you can also be academic and teach at university.

I hope I can be an advisor to a politician or be able to participate in public policies, I would love to work in the ministry of education. Hopefully I would also work in sub-national governments since they have become important especially for Chile. I plan to work on it and then go to academy.

When I was a child I never really thought that I would study this hahaha but I am not complaining, I like what I study and I hope to continue learning more!

 My Favorite Movie

Hi everyone! Today I gonna talk about movies! Specifically my favorites movies hahaha. Well, firts I want to say I think the movies are one of the form to show different facets of the human being and it is also one of the most popular entertainment out there! See how different stories unfold with many characters, it is very beautiful. I always try to watch movies with my mom to also spend time with her.

My favorites movies are two hahahah, Leon: the professional and princess and the frog (the Disney version with Tiana). 

Leon: the professional is one of my favorite because I love the story and the characters. I also love the colors of the film, the shots, the way the characters act. I love leon hahaha how he takes care of Mathilda and how their relationship develops. I also love the soundtrack of the film, thanks to this I got to know it (the song is one of Sting). And acts the beautiful Natalie Portman and Jean Reno

And princess and the frog It is because I feel that she is one of the princesses who fights for her dreams, besides being brave and not needing a man xd or true love to be complete, but rather as you live and build your dreams, you are finding people who they help you move on and become part of your happiness.

The country I would like to visit.

Hi everyone! I hope they are well. Today I am going to tell you about the country that I would like to visit. The country is India, I think it is a beautiful country rich in culture and history. The reason why I would like to visit this country is for my mother because she saw a novel about India (but the production is Brazilian jajjajaj) and it worked on an Indian family that had (obviously) a lot of drama, but they showed how the culture of the Indians and their way of being and treating people is thanks to their religion.

They are people very attached to the religion and thanks to the novel I learned that the Indians worship a God who defines what caste he belongs to and his name is Brahma. Each person is born from a part of the body of this God and defines what social class he belongs to. You can be very rich or very poor, it is a bit harsh for the Indians.

I wouldn’t like to live there because I don’t know what the job opportunities will be like, I think it is better to visit it and spend a few beautiful days in that country.
